Emilee obtained her certification in large animal massage through the Northwest School of Animal Massage. She brings a unique blend of veterinary training combined with the more holistic approach of massage to her practice. She believes both Eastern and Western medicine can play a role in your animal's care, and will evaluate your horse as a whole with both aspects in mind.
Emilee is a lifelong equestrian - having grown up around horses and first riding when she was just three. After taking lessons for many years, she got her first horse at 11 years old. Emilee and Tinker showed in 4-H together, until Emilee's love for dressage led her to focus on dressage lessons and shows. Emilee had found her calling, and learned an exceptional amount from each horse she owned and rode.
Enter: a boisterous Dutch Warmblood schoolmaster named Kalibre - who's name inspired High Caliber Equine Massage. Emilee and Kalibre would go on to climb the levels, eventually competing at Prix St. Georges and I-1, earning a multitude of state and regional championships along the way. Emilee's dedication to Kalibre's health led to her begin a career in the veterinary field as a large animal veterinary assistant.
